You should always ensure your Bookkeeper is a Registered BAS Agent as a minimum if they will be acting on your behalf in relation to your BAS, IAS and other GST matters and that they hold relevant Professional Indemnity Insurance. Asking them about the types of business or industries they have worked with could also be beneficial to know if they are the right fit for your business.

1) Ensure you keep all records that relate to your business, such as receipts/invoices, bank/credit card and loan statements either electronically or on paper in an easily accessible manner. 2) Be using accurate Accounting Software relevant to the scale and processes of your business, or if not, be willing to switch or upgrade as required. 3) Keep your business and personal transactions as separate as possible.

As our hourly rate is less than a third of what most Accountants charge, you are guaranteed to save money on fees by using our services.

We charge a very competitive hourly rate which can be negotiated to a fixed fee after three months if desired.
