• How did you decide to get into your line of work?

  Coming from a large artistic family I was introduced to the medium of photography at an early age and was quick to appreciate the value of being an observer of people and nature. And that feeling has never left me. Photography can lead you to many exciting places and it has. I honed my craft completing a B.A in Photography and for eight years I worked as a freelance commercial photographer. But life likes to come full circle. My whole perspective on what’s important in life and my work shifted when my niece was welcomed into the world. I was back with family and asked to photograph the birth and that’s when it hit me: This is the most real, raw and powerful human experience there is, and I want to be the one to document and celebrate everything about it.
