Cideway Imagery

Cideway Imagery is a Commercial Photography Studio based in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded by Chris Ide, who is a professional Adelaide-based photographer who combines a fresh, creative vision with extensive technical ability and post-production expertise. Chris has long-term freelance experience, working with clients since 2003 in a diverse range of fields including the wine and fashion industries, portraiture, fine art, architecture and real estate. Chris founded Cideway Imagery in 2005 and quickly established himself as a photographer committed to creating images of the highest quality for his clients. He has since graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Commercial Photography from TAFE SA in 2007. His work philosophy is to provide his clients with superior images that demonstrate great attention to detail, on time, every time. Chris’s fine art and landscape photography has gained international recognition with his images being one of 17 winners selected for exhibition from entries from universities and colleges all over the world in the International Student Photographic Imaging Educators’ Association Exhibition. Photography is an art with a highly technical side and Chris is equally skilled in post-production as he is in creative development of imagery. Using the most up-to-date photographic equipment and image manipulation software, Chris has extensive experience in Photoshop and retouching software, ensuring that every image reflects his and his client’s high standards and attention to detail. With wide-ranging interests and a passion for travel and adventure, Chris has explored the world, honing his skills at capturing his unique vision. With a background both in rural and urban Australia and an interest in scuba diving, Chris is enthusiastic about the Australian environment, both above and beneath the water. Chris’s passion for Australian landscapes is easily seen in his fine art photography and he has travelled the continent, capturing breathtaking images of some of our most remote wildness regions. With a devotion to photographic excellence and producing images of the highest professional quality with a creative edge, Chris will find a way to perfectly showcase any client’s vision.
