I hold a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and have business insurance with QBE.  I am fully aware of my obligations and ensure I meet these for every job.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

After a career working with Macquarie Bank Group and other large organisation I have opted to work for myself and bookkeeping and accounts is where my core strengths are so it makes sense so do something you are good at and love.

I have a customer who runs a business from her home. In the two years prior to my working with her she had not drawn attention to this to het Accountant and he had not considered a home office or home office expenses for her. Adjustments were made and the result on her Tax position where brilliant.

I get great pleasure out of improving business outcomes from clients and taking the stress out of the bookkeeping. It is also fabulous to watch their performance once they can focus back on their business instead of getting bogged down in the paperwork.
