Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Accepted Answer

Yes I am insured and gladly guarantee my work. What I can't guarantee are postal times, courier deliveries, etc because they are all different.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Accepted Answer

I am a former racer (bike) and kept falling off not knowing why. Ended up that I was having mild epileptic seizures (that I grew out of) and chose to give up the racing and take the second best seat in the house to stay in the sport.

I have literally thousands of customers for all sorts of photography and photo book publishing. The are all my favorites!

I am a petrol head and appreciate the finer details of the 'oh wow' photo. Doing what I enjoy and shooting what I love is a bonus.

My customers ask a load of different questions depending on their prior product knowledge, planning, interests and needs. Questions are vital to delivering the product ordered.

Automotive/sports specialist photographer with decades of published photos behind me. Available to shoot your machine/ride, events, club days, events, etc at more than respectable prices.  Prints up to 1,800x1,200mm on most mediums. Ideal gifts, awards, etc. prices upon application.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Where, when, what and how you want something captured.  Once this is done we figure out the sizes and quantities then your surfaces to be printed on i.e. paper, canvas, etc or electronic (emailed) versions.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1/ Know exactly what you want before we start; 2/ If the print is to be framed, get a good idea of colour, decor, style etc to avoid conflict;  3/ Be excited about getting a wonderful product and don't be distracted by gunna's and coulda's done its;  4/ Realise that electronic files are very large.

I am one of the leading photographers in my field and charge as per the going rate. My work isn't cheap but it's excellent and hangs in many homes, man caves, factories and offices.

Have a chat to see exactly what you exactly want leading to planning and producing a product that YOU will want and cherish. Due to the endless range of sizes, environments, printing surfaces, etc all prices are developed individually.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

Anything fast and usually noisy.  I shoot warbirds, drags, bike racing, car racing, boat racing and even horse and penny farthing racing.

I have close to 40 years experience and have been published globally in books, magazines, blogs, etc. I am a perfectionist in my trade which is reflected in my product. I hold current WSBK, MotoGP, WSBK, MA, MV accreditation.
