How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I love working with numbers and being able to see something through from start to finish. I also love being able to look at how things are currently operating and use questions to get a better result for all involved and being able to identify who is the best person for a particular role in the company based on what they love to do and what they do well.

How much do you charge? Start at $50 up to $250 per hour depending on work being done. What systems do you use?  MYOB and most accounting packages including ZOHO. Being an accountant the learning curve is small as I understand the concept of what needs to be done. How available are you? I currently have availability 3 days per week Have you got experience in talking to customers and managing staff and asking for money?  As the accountant in all businesses I have been responsible for doing a variety of this type of work and I currently do this in my own business. What is the best part about having you on board?  My role is to make the business operate more smoothly and when allowed to do this, I can support you to achieve an even better result across the board. How are you different from every other accountant?  I will participate as a team player to support you to get the best results and I will offer my opinion based on my experience to best support you. I am excellent in a crisis, managing fires and getting whatever needs to be done, done on time, and with limited impact.

I am able to work independently, and under direction as the circumstances require.  I have an excellent ability to communicate and deliver what is required in the situation.  In addition, my experience has taught me the importance of implementing strong systems to get the best results for all parties involved.

Tips for saving money before we start to work together will depend on how advanced the customer is in their business.  However, the following activity will always yield a result for the business owner: Step 1: Record time spent in your business as accurately as possible based on all activities no matter how big or small. Step 2: Categorise the activities you are conducting Step 3: Determine which of these activities are generating you income, and how much and which are not income generating and then let's talk about how I can better serve you to save money.

Job dependent, general bookkeeping services start at $50 per hour and pricing varies according to work conducted, including but not limited to, managing accounts, creating best practise systems for business operations, involvement in budgeting process and how to achieve desired bottom line profit.
