Goran I am sorry you feel this way and have felt the need to post some incorrect facts about your job. Upon booking your appointment, you advised that you electric pump was working but not pumping water. You were asked when the last service was and advised you were unsure. It was advised that a service would be best suited and you were given a flat service rate. Our apprentice attended to complete a full service yesterday afternoon. Upon arriving he found that the filter and indoor coil were completely blocked with dust. This was therefore effecting the units performance. After the apprentice cleaned the filters and coil, you then proceeded to tell him that the pump had completely stopped working. The apprentice then went about removing the indoor cover off the wall (which he did have difficulty doing) and found the pump's drain was blocked and not allowing the water through. The drain was unclogged and all the existing water drained out. The system was then tested and the drain failed to come on. It was then diagnosed that due to the neglect of the system and failure to keep servicing the unit upto date the pump had an intermittent fault. The apprentice advised you of this after consulting with our office and advised that we would get back to you with a quote to repair the pump. Upon this you then insisted that the apprentice pull the pump down and try again to get it working. The apprentice obliged and after numerous attempts the pump still did not start. Upon competing the works, you then refused to pay your bill as the unit had not been fixed and you could have done all the works yourself. IF you had kept up the maintenance of the system and been honest when contacting us about the fault from the start, this could have all been avoided. Please be aware that you were also only charged the original service fee and one hours labour, when after all your requests and arguing the apprentice was on site for over 3 and a half hours. Kind regards Tara McLeod DHC AIR Pty Ltd 1300 309 389 [email protected]
