We have professional indemnity insurance and are a Member of the Planning Institute of Australia.  Whilst not offering a guarantee, we offer a very professional service and have a good track record of successful results for clients.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

We have 17 years' experience in providing town planning advice.  We offer a personalised, one on one service, and have a very good record of representing clients' interest in Council and at VCAT.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Accepted Answer

Details of the project in questions, plans, any officer reports, details of objections or other history.  We also require details of what is being proposed (extent of development etc).

What makes your pricing competitive?

As a boutique operator operating from a well serviced home office, I do not have the regular costs associated with larger practices.  The cost savings are able to be passed onto our clients.

How do you normally charge for your service?

I can offer both a fixed rate, or hourly rate, depending on the complexity of the project.  I will always discuss the specifics of the project with the client before providing a fee given that the complexity of each matter varies.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

We prepare comprehensive town planning submissions, prepare feasibility reports, lodge and run development applications on behalf of clients, and represent a variety of clients at VCAT.  I have prepared and presented well over 250 cases at VCAT and offer a quality level of representation.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I have over 17 years' experience as a town planner and have worked in a variety of Local Council's, small town planning firms and now as a small consultancy.  This broad experience allows me to provide a high level of service to a variety of clients'.
