How did you decide to get into your line of work?

My four daughters played a massive role in my decision to become a photographer. There are so many precious, funny, sad, joyful, dancing, singing, dress up and fleeting moments from them and the minute I or anyone pulls out a camera they are instant models. No shortage of people to practice.

I love absolutely everything about my job but to pick one I would say, it would be the happiness I get from seeing the joy I have given others.

Ask questions to see if the photographer will suit your personality such as, do they prefer to work to an exact scripted shot list and timeline, do they mind just going with the flow and creating shot as the shoot progresses. These things will show you who will suit your ideas more than others.

Q. Do we have to get our little ones to sit and pose for photos? A. Absolutely not no, I am very happy to follow your little bundles around in the park, at the beach or at home in their own environment and capture beautiful precious moments of them at play or rest. It is up to you.

How many people involved. Location/Setting. What the desired final outcome is.  How customer would like images delivered i.e. USB or print and how many of each. Genre of Photo Shoot i.e. portrait, corporate, candid/relaxed or formal setting, indoor or outdoor. Budget Timeframe

Research what they want, how they want it and have pictures for reference. Have everyone involved ready on time. Relax and have a bit of fun with it.
