Dogz Downunder

I am an independent mobile dog groomer with over 8 years experience providing this service. Originally I was an all breeds groomer but about 4 or so years ago I decided to specialise in large breeds. I own Bullmastiffs, a Newfoundland (and until recently a Border Collie) and have an affinity with large dogs so it was a natural progression. Breeds that I most commonly groom at the moment are Golden Retrievers, Border Collies, Labradors, Newfoundlands, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Ridgebacks and Bullmastiffs but would welcome any other large breeds into the 'Dogz' family. I have a strong work ethic and attention to detail. I have a kind and gentle as well as confident, natural handling ability with dogs and happily take all the time your dog needs to be happy and settled and also to come home looking gorgeous! Sadly I hear too many unfortunate stories about dogs being handled inappropriately while being groomed elsewhere. If your dog has had a bad grooming experience in the past and is now fearful of being groomed, I am happy to work with them and take the time to help them become happier and more settled with the grooming process. This often takes time and I am happy to take all the time they need. All of my current clients are long standing ones that I visit on a regular basis. The majority of these clients I have met through existing happy customers passing along my details to people that they either know or meet while out walking their dog! I find these referrals very humbling and satisfying to know that my customers are happy enough to tell all the dog people they meet about me and my work. In the past I have mainly worked in the Berwick/Narre Warren/Pakenham area but have in the last year or so I have expanded into the Mount Evelyn/Mooroolbark and Ferntree Gully/Rowville areas as well. I also have a few Dogz around Nunawading and am actually happy to work anywhere within about half an hour drive from my home in Tecoma. As I am mobile I will come to you. Please be aware that while I love working in the hills, many homes in the hills area are inaccessible for me so if that is the case I can work at home...we can always work something out together.
