Yes - I have Bookkeepers Professional Indemnity Insurance. I have only ever lost one client and that was because I would not do dodgy bookkeeping - I am was very proud to lose them.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I was a Corporate Accountant and Financial Controller for large organisations. I got sick of big business and craved the personal touch - where you can really see how you make a difference.

I have so many favourites stories but one is a client who was using a very outdated accounting package and processes. She is now on XERO and worked through the best and most efficient way to do everything. She is now back being totally engaged in her job and asking for more and more information.

Are you the right bookkeeper for me - there are lots of people out there who claim to be a good bookkeeper but you need to find the one who suits you and your needs. The relationship is just as important as their skills.

Can you help me, I am so far behind - we have never had a clients we have not been able to help. We will look at your circumstances, financially and work load etc, and put suggestions to you. We like to find the right mix for each client.

Quoting on jobs is difficult because it is hard as the time it takes is more about the type of transactions rather than the number of transactions. We tend to do progress reports so you know how things are progressing. We also invoice weekly so you can keep track of the costs.

Send us all the information we request.  Prompt and accurate replies save a lot of time and money.  Communicate clearly and concisely

We are not the cheapest bookkeepers around. However we are extremely experienced and we offer additional no cost fees such as update emails about changes to rules and systems etc.

We generally charge by the hour, however, we can also offer a fixed monthly fee if that is your preference.
