Yes we are fully insured ,its a must these days although we take the utmost care while carrying out repairs or installations you just never know when something may go wrong. Not that we have ever had to make a claim in all our years of service

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

How did I personally get into this line of work, my dad was a Refrigeration Mechanic ,and it kind of rubbed off. I was helping fix fridges when I was 12 years old

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

We have a lot of favourite customer stories, but one recent one that springs to mind is a lady with a florist shop, she called out another company to check over her broken fridge , they quoted her something like $2500.00 to repair it. They didn't turn up and thanks to word of mouth we ended up there and repaired the fridge for $134.00 , all that was required was a motor capacitor , not the compressor as she was quoted by the other mob

We all at Fortbrook Refrigeration and Air conditioning enjoy what we do, when you have been around as long as us we know where making a difference , that's what we like about our job. If we keep you happy ,you will keep us happy

All customers should ask is whether the company there about to use is registered, has an Australian Refrigeration council licence, is insured , had the correct Electrical licences and  can produce these licences before the work begins.

We get asked this a lot actually , the question that is asked the most is how come your so much cheaper than the other companies, well we want you to come back to us and recommend us to others so it pays us to give you the best service for the best price ,simple

Ok this is a pretty easy question to answer, most people want to know when you will get there, we use realistic time frames and if we do get held up due to traffic or work overload we always contact the customer to keep them in the loop. If we quote you ,we stand by it ,no hidden costs no extra charges

We are a family owned business with years of experience in both Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. At Fortbrook we like to keep things simple to save our customers money and being a small company we offer very competitive rates because we don't have all the overheads all of the big companies have.

For our customers to save money which is what we try to do so as to insure them coming back time and time again, we ask that we have a clear area to work in whether it be on a fridge or an Aircon to save time and money

We supply and install Split Systems at a competitive rate , we also have a budget range of guaranteed and warranted units for any Oneflare customers that contact us through Oneflare's website. Our Oneflare,s  special would be our 2.5 KW Split System fully installed with all ancillaries including pipework, duct covers for pipework and wall mounting brackets for the outdoor condensing unit ,all completed for the Special price of $790.00 + GST

Because we are a smaller company with less overheads we can keep the prices we charge down. We don't have the over head costs associated with larger companies, our customers can attest to that

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

We like to be right upfront when it comes to our pricing , There is a call out fee of $100.00 dollars which includes the first Half hour and an hourly rate of $75 per hour there after. Most problems can be fixed within and hour, and if it is something major requiring a compressor or similar we supply at wholesale prices or better.

Fortbrook Refrigeration and Air Conditioning has a lot of experience behind us. We specialise in all types of Refrigeration from Supermarkets running on the new green refrigerants "ie" Natural CO2 and other non ozone depleting refrigerants. to your local corner store drinks fridge. Having said that we are Air Conditioning experts from chilled water commercial units to domestic bedroom split systems we look after it all

We are fully Qualified and Accredited. we hold all the necessary licences to carry out all types of work relating to your refrigeration and Air Conditioning needs. In fact we have accreditations that other companies have never heard of.
