Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Yes, we have $20 million cover for public liability as well as contract works insurance. We also provide a home owner warranty insurance policy for every job over $20,000 as required by the home building act. Our guarantees are in line with the requirements of the NSW Home Building Act

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Being a family business for 20 years, we grew up with the business being run from home. This meant when mum and dad decided to retire, it was a logical and comfortable step for us to take over and continue running a successful business

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

At FreeStyle Pools we are a small family owned and run business so you deal directly with the business owners, not a salesman on commission or a builder on wages. We quote the whole job and are flexible with design options and material selections. We will give you the price for all aspects of the pool construction, and then it is up to you how much we do and how much you do yourself.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

We normally need to visit the site to consider the different access required for machinery to dig the hole. There are also council and building requirements to consider with ground levels and trees. Once these are known we just need a design and equipment specification. We will make recommendations based on different usage, family and aesthetic requirements.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1. Have the whole plan for the pool, landscaping and house known before you start. This saves you heading off in the wrong direction and having to re-do things 2. Chose equipment that will last. You get what you pay for. It is better to pay 10-20% more up front than have to buy something twice 3. Do your homework on your preferred builder. Check online blogs, dept of fair trading, get references.

The quote and design is free. Pool price varies depending on the scope and size of the job. Once the design is roughly known and specification determined a rough price can be given in a few minutes

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

Rob has a double engineering degree with 8 years experience in design and project management for a global manufacturing organisation. Customer focus was the key priority in this role. In building, the job is supervised by Ben who is a fully licensed builder with 19 years building experience, 16 of those years have been managing FreeStyle Pools construction.
