I was immediately impressed by the extremely friendly and competent attitude of Sean, April, and Kerry. I asked for a quote for the box to be sent to Tasmania, and it was surprisingly affordable. After a couple of phone calls to organise things, the gearbox arrived promptly and appeared to be very well put together. I too have been let down by so-called 4WD experts who have done shocking jobs in the past insofar as rebuilding my gearbox for the Hilux have been concerned. Sean assured me that if there were to be any problems they would be rapidly rectified. I fitted the new box and sent my old one back, and promptly received my security deposit refund. I gave the new box a good workout on the road, 4WDriving, and towing, and it is by far the best gearbox my car has ever had. I am still getting used to it not jumping violently out of first gear, which was a feature of the old so-called fully reconditioned box. I will recommend Sean and the girls at Gearbox Masters to anyone, and am very confident that this gearbox will last the distance. Don't even bother looking elsewhere, these guys are the best.
