Yes. I have full professional insurances. I guarantee all my work. If the client is not satisfied with work produced, and after discussion, adjustments to the account are done.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

By default. I was invited to apply for an accounting position with Mobil Oil, enjoyed the principal of the work, and developed from there. to senior management positions.

Variety. Meeting a wide range of wonderfully different people. Being trusted to enter their homes/businesses and discuss very personal financial matters. Being my own boss.

How much do you charge. I never quote a figure, preferring instead to visit the client and discuss their particular needs with them. All clients are different and should be given respect accordingly.

I treat clients a people, not numbers. My experience allows me to advise clients on a wide range of matters, form bookkeeping to tax preparation

What does the company sell. How many employees. What sort of accounting system they are using - if any. Financial turnover. What they expect from me. How can we work together.

Have all banks statements ready and in date order. Have cheque books available, in date order. Have all paperwork prepared either in date order, or  creditor/debtor order.
