  The things Alessina teaches are simple and make so much sense, sometimes you just need someone to show you how to do it. After two weeks and just one session with Alessina, Otis has already calmed down lots and our neighbours have given feedback that his barking has reduced. Alessina is very easy to work with and provides tips to make training fun for both dog and owner. Looking forward to our next session!

  I am writing this testimonial to thank Alessina for all her work with Keeley, my American Staffordshire Terrier. Keeley, a rescue dog, had a history of abuse and was very anxious and suspicious of strangers before Alessina began training her. In the four lessons my family and I had, Alessina listened to our concerns about Keeley's anxiety, leadership issues, and socialising difficulties. She addressed each problem with simple but incredibly effective techniques and helped us understand Keeley's behaviour from a dog's point of view! By the end of the fourth lesson, Keeley had learned to trust and engage with Alessina and this behaviour change was profound! Alessina touched base with us several times between training sessions to check on our progress and will follow up in a few months to reassess our dog's behaviour. Keeley has come an awfully long way and responded so well to Alessina's training methods! She has thankfully become a different dog! We feel we can now move forward and manage Keeley's behaviour on our own, and therefore would be happy to recommend Alessina without hesitation. Kirsty White

  Firstly I'd like to thank Alessina for the fantastic job she did in helping our children, my wife and I to understand what is required to raise a happy, respectful, well mannered and fun dog. Alessina walks you through the steps needed both from a practical and theoretical perspective. Having children it was particularly important for us to make sure they grew in confidence when handling our dog and we now can say that both our 6 and 10 year old's know exactly what to do to gain the behaviours we want. As we stepped through each session, gradually layering practical tips and techniques for all your major needs when handling your dog, we also received written information that added to our understanding. While teaching and reinforcing good behaviours is obviously a long term task, we are now very confident of exactly how to handle this and it makes having a dog, especially one as active and lively as ours, so much more fun and manageable.   Yes, I am an insured business and no as I said previously, I cannot guarantee my work as it is very much dependent on the willingness of the client to follow what I have instructed.

  When my own dog, Red Dog, came into my life, a part of me that had laid dormant, expanded and I was very keen to share this experience with other dog owners. There is no pretence with animals, they tell you as it is!
