Gutter Knight is fully licensed and Insured. All of our installers have public liabilty insurance and follow strict Australian safety standards.   Our gutter guard products all come with a warranty ranging from 12 years through to 20 years.  We also offer a 20 year workmanship warranty.  We also offer an on time guarantee. We appreciate your time and will be on time for every scheduled appointment from the initial meeting through to the completion of your job.  We also offer a cleanliness guarantee. We will clean up after ourselves and the only way you will know that we have been there is by the added value to your home.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Ask to see their Workers Compensation Insurance Certificate. Without this protection YOU become liable for any employee accident claim while they were working on your property.  Ask to see their Public Liability Insurance Cover. What if someone is severely injured or your property is damaged? Most house hold insurance doesn't cover this type of claim. Once again YOU may be at risk. Ask to see references.   Can you see references from satisfied customers?

Is the product made and manufactured in Australia? YES, unfortunately there are a lot of imitation Chinese imports which do not pass Australian Fire Ratings. Putting a cheap imported product on your roof could mean less protection and possible problems in the near future which could be very difficult to have rectified. It could you be very difficult to be compensated if the product is from China. Buy Australian made.  Do you Guarantee your workmanship in writing? YES, verbal guarantees are useless.   Do you offer a written product guarantee? YES, verbal guarantees are useless if a problem ever occurs with the product.   Do you supply me with a detailed quote outlining all preparation to be undertaken, material to be used and type of work to be performed? YES, unfortunately the value of a well written proposal is often only understood after a problem develops. It's only what's written down that counts. Lack of detail leaves you with no leg to stand on should a dispute arise.  Do you have testimonials? YES

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

We would need to know a number of things before we can provide an accurate quote beginning with: Roof type, single of double storey home, location of the property, how many metres of guttering requires gutter guard.

There is not anything a customer can do to save money before starting the job. Insurances and Authoritive codes require us to do all of the work. It is extremely dangerous for unskilled people to be up on roofs.

We do not have sales people or a shop front. We manufacture our own products therefore there is no middle man and we can pass the savings directly onto the customer.

How do you normally charge for your service?

There are a few factors we look at when charging out our products. Is the house single or 2 storey? Tile or corrogated roof? What is the access like for the installer? Once all this is determined we then work out the job on a per meterage rate.
