My favourite customer stories always involve me hearing positive feedback from my clients. One of my new clients recently told me that she was so grateful that I was working on her books. She had interviewed several other bookkeepers and felt that I was the only one that had really listened.

Customers like to know how they get their paperwork to me. I'm fairly flexible as I am a fully mobile bookkeeper, so I collect my clients paperwork either monthly or quarterly, at a time that suits them.

Typically I ask the following information:  - Are they a Company or a Sole Trader?  - Do they have employees?  - Are they on the cloud?  - Are they up to date in lodging their BAS's?

1. I can do an overview of their expenses that they have currently been claiming and making sure that they have been claiming everything that they are entitled to.  2. Make sure that their business structure has been setup correctly.  3. Check that all ATO lodgements have been lodged.
