We have been in the Social Media business for over 9 years... and have seen amazing changes in that time. For example, Facebook has grown from a simple social site to a full blown digital platform with the ability to created targeted campaigns for businesses. Twitter has also tapped the lucrative advertising market and LinkedIn has become the number one platform for business - to - business connections.
How did you decide to get into your line of work?
We started in the social media space around 9 years ago when we were looking for ways to promote our own separate business and were not happy with the poor results we were getting from printed press. We new there had to be a better way to find and connect with our clients, so we turned our attention away from the traditional media and onto social media. As a result our business flourished so much we ended up selling it and have since focused on helping other businesses do the same.
What do you like most about your job?
We love the positive feedback we get from our clients, as well as the real-time results we get through the various social media platforms. It's a business with a lot of flexibility with both customer focused meetings and back office video editing and campaign management, so there's always something to do.
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
Our service are only suited to clients who would be comfortable speaking on camera and interacting with existing and potential clients on the various social media platforms. We will give you all the training required, but social media has no "silver bullet", it requires ongoing management (which we can do for you) and regular updates.
