What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?
Alan is our amazing Head Chef and has over 20 years experience in the catering industry. Together with his wife Julie they can create a menu that suits your needs and provide you with a very happy, memorable catering experience.
Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?
We can cater for functions from 20-500 guests and are happy to meet the individual needs or all our customers. We cater everything from weddings, birthdays to funerals, corporate events and anything inbetween.
How do you normally charge for your service?
We charge on a per head basis and it depends on the amount of courses you have , the food choices you make and whether you choose to have us to provide waitstaff or have the food just delivered to your venue.
What makes your pricing competitive?
We have our commercial kitchen based on our property, so we don`t pay rent. Therefore we are able to keep our costs down without compromising on the quality of our food.
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
The date of the function
Approx amount of guests.
Style of food eg: Buffet, Fingerfood, Banquet style and amount of courses required
Whether they require our waitstaff or just delivery
Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?
Yes we are insured and our customers are always happy with our work, which you can see by the reviews on our website. We are also happy to give out phone numbers from previous functions for verbal references.
What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?
We provide great quality and service and always arrive on time and won`t leave until everyone is completely satisfied and the kitchen is clean and tidy. We go above and beyond to ensure the catering is perfect for all our functions.
What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?
Q.What are the per head costs?
A. It depends on many thing so the best way to answer all your questions is to have a 10 min chat, work out the customer needs then we are able to write a suitable menu quote that we can send them
What do you like most about your job?
A great deal of job satisfaction comes from being a part of a persons special occasion and for them to be so grateful and happy that they chose us to cater on their special day.The guests often tell us it`s the best food they`ve ever had a function which is wonderful.
Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?
We catered for a wedding where the Bride wanted a Spanish Themed fingerfood, so even though it was our own Anniversary we decided to work and create a menu for this lady who was so lovely on the phone and struggled to get another caterer to do what she wanted. She was so stoked with everything she tipped us $600 and she`s the only bride I`ve ever seen with a bright red mohawk.
How did you decide to get into your line of work?
Alan has been a Chef since leaving school and we started catering for Weddings because a close friend asked us to do hers. We were also doing dinner catering for our local council meetings and it just grew from there through word of mouth.
How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
If you`re planning a 3 course meal, you may choose to do the desserts yourself and we can do the fingerfood starter and main meal. We are happy for guests to provide a course if they choose to.
What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?
Do you charge extra for weddings?
We certainly don`t but for some reason many caterers seem to push the price up when they know it`s a wedding which is disgusting and not necessary.

We don`t have any special offers but all our customers go away well fed, happy and very satisfied with the quality of food and service that we pride ourselves on giving. Our reputation is great and we receive lots of work through word of mouth.
