How do you normally charge for your service?
I charge per head which includes staff, delivery and service . Every quote is different depending of what the client wants. Finger food , sit downs , Buffets, spit roasts, are all charged accordingly and very competitive.
What makes your pricing competitive?
My pricing is very competitie due to the low overheads I have . Everything is made by myself and on the premises. This enables me to keep costs down.
Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?
Every now and then I have special offers but it all depends on what they have. For large bookings they will get a discount or I will throw some extra in with their package.
How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
Customers cam save money by letting myself do all the running around for them.
Having a substantial catering order so if I can order in bulk and talkiing to me to help them.
Having it at their premises is a good way to cut down costs and also getting family members to help out as well.
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
There are many things I need to Know before I do quote.
Time , Date and Location, Is there a theme to there special occassion, How many people will be invited, What kind of food wolud they like , will it be sit down ,Stand up Casual , Formal, will there be any kids and how many and also dietry requirements.

With this business I have to have my food safety certificates.,and business

What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?
Constant referals, being honest, listening to what the customer wants , making suggestions that they might not have thought about, making an effort to visit the client one on one before the event and always be on time or earlier.
What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?
Most clients ask if you cater for kids, do you have minimum numbers, how far will you travel , can you do any dietry requirements, can you design a menu to cater for our needs.

Meeting people and networking , always on the move ,never in the one location, Designing menus to suit clients requirements , also being given challenges to improve myself and always listening and learnig from others.
Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?
Every customer has a story and they are all great some more than others but there is no one particular customer that really stands out . I've been to some amazing places and not so amazing.
How did you decide to get into your line of work?
I am a qualified chef and have been doing this kind of work for the past 20 years, so I say that I have fallen into it. Its great. Like all jobs it has its ups and downs but with myself its mostly ups , I really enjoy meeting and talking to people

Customers have the right to hire and choose anybody they like it all dpends on how I come across . Im not pushy and I listen to what the client wants, Make a point to visit the client one on one before the event.

I am a qualified chef and have been cooking for 28 years with a vast knowledge of the industry. I;ve been catering for a good part of 20 years, customer service is one of my main priorities making them feel relaxed.

I specialize in most aspects of catering . There is nothing I can not do. The client only needs to ask . My food and customer service and word of mouth is my biggest advertiser.
