People gets really frustrated with computer issues. It really gets into their nerves. In this respect, it is a great satisfaction seeing my customers more relaxed, and happy, after the job is done.

It is all about trust. You don't want to waste your money and time picking the wrong service professional. It is a decision that it has to be made based on research or just trust.

I do not stop until I can see my customer smiling and completely satisfied with the way that things went with my work.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

I am a qualified IT professional. In this business, there are also self-proclaimed  "IT Professionals", and unfortunately they are not qualified.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

It depends on the type of service. Building a website requires a much different set of questions than building a PC.  But for the most typical thing to ask, would be "what's the budget"

Be specific describing the problem. This way is easy to make the correct diagnosis. Have everything ready in the first place. Make sure you know what you want and know your expectations, so do some research.

What makes your pricing competitive?

My pricing system is competitive because for some other service like me, charging the customer $80 / hr for 3 hours of work, would represent $240. In my case, for the same amount of hours worked, would represent only $160 (first hour $80, and $40 for subsequent hours).

How do you normally charge for your service?

It depends.  If it is an hourly rate, then $80 for the first hour and a rate of $40 for subsequent hours. If it is a flat rate, then the cost would be predetermined by a free quotation triggered by the customer.

I am proficient in all areas that I have included on my business profile page listed as services, but I specialise in computer networks, so yes I can setup your home entertainment system if you like.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I have a Monash degree in Information Technology and Systems, a Diploma of Information and Communications Technology from Victoria University, an Information Technology Infrastructure Library certificate, and also a Cisco networking certificate. I have more than 15  years of experience troubleshooting computers.
