Kickstart are one of Brisbane’s most accomplished and enduring classic rock cover bands. Playing continuously as a duo, and 5 piece band since 2007, we have played in the majority of south-east Queensland’s premier venues and clubs as well as many corporate and private functions. Giving the audience a great night of fun, dancing and singing along is always our aim and our repertoire is geared around this, so it’s full of classic rock and classic hits from the 70s through to 90s with a few iconic numbers from the 60s, as well 00s and today. Seriously, you can expect a totally professional performance from seasoned musos who have been entertaining people for longer than we can remember. To give you confidence that we know our stuff and can give you a great night, some of our highlights have been playing the Piazza twice for Riverfire, playing Suncorp Stadium for Bronco’s 21st Anniversary Game, being flown to Port Douglas for a private wedding, playing the Stockman’s Bar on the famous first Friday night of the Ekka for 3 years running, playing Twin Towns Showroom supporting the Fawlty Towers Show, regular at Neurum Creek Bush Retreat for 5 years running, CEQ Charity Race Day at Doomben for 2 years running, BCEC and Gold Coast Convention Centre for numerous corporate functions, Block Party for Slim's Burgers opening in KippaRing and being re-booked 27 times to play at The Grand Hotel, Labrador .... and there are many more. We use only the best sound equipment and have our own sound engineer to ensure that the mix and sound levels are just right for the crowd. We carry $30m Public Liability cover.
