How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I originally became interested in the body after sustaining numerous injuries to my knee and spine as a young triathlete and Australian Rules footballer.  I saw first hand how physiotherapy can help recovery after an injury.

A patient came to be after suffering neck pain and headaches for 10 years.  She had been to see many other health care professionals.  We treated her with dry needling and combined with setting up a foam roller based home exercise program got her feeling the best she's felt in a very long time.

What do you like most about your job?

I feel fortunate to be able to help people every day.  I especially love to empower people to move, be healthy and do what they love - without relying on medications and surgery.  I strongly believe 'exercise is medicine'.  To see someone achieve their goals gives me great satisfaction.

We allow 1 hour for Initial Assessment.  This means we can identify the underlying cause of your symptoms and educate and empower you to get better for the long run.  There's plenty of time for hands-on treatment and exercise demonstration to get you on the fast track and back to doing what you love

Ways to save money: Be very clear about what you hope to achieve with Physiotherapy  Write down any questions before your appointment and bring them with you  Make sure you do all of your home exercises and communicate with the Physio if something doesn't feel right
