Margherita Graduated from the Queensland College of Art in 1987 with an Associate Diploma in Art Majoring in Photography. After completing her studies Margherita traveled extensively with her photography. In 2001 after a several years working primarily in newborn/baby photography Margherita established Kiss Photography in Brisbane.
