There was a bit of mess left by the trucks that is understandable, but some went onto the garden unecessarily but I recognise that this was not our contractor's issue. I'll be giving his name to anyone who is looking for someone. Read more

Frequently Asked Questions
Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?
We know concreting and everything there is to know about the trade and we use this knowledge to achieve a finished product of the highest standard. We are also friendly and trustworthy. Ultimately we are here to do a good job.
What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?
I personally have 10 years experience in a lot of aspects of concreting, giving me a wide, varied knowledge of the trade and the ability to overcome almost any challenge.
Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?
We specialise in driveways and slabs. However we also are competent and skilled at steps, foundations and most other types of concreting. If it's concrete, we can pour it.
How do you normally charge for your service?
We charge either cash, cheque or bank deposit. We generally require a deposit up front at the beginning of works which can be negotiated prior to commencement of the job.
What makes your pricing competitive?
We are not the cheapest company out there and we are not the most expensive. We are very reasonable in price and we value our own skills and work ethic and charge accordingly. We treat every job like its at our own houses. Prices are fair and definately value for money.
Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?
We don't curently offer any sales or deals. We always provide a fair and reasonable price and are willing to do a cheaper price for pensioners and the elderly !!
How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
To save money before we provide a quote, it would be a good idea to remove excessive fill from the area you want concreted which will save time for us and consequently be cheaper for you.
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
Before we provide a quote, we need to measure up the area and determine the scope of works involved. We also need to know the type of concrete required for the job.
Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?
We have public liability insurance. We guarantee the work we do meets or exceeds Australian standards everything we do is designed to help the concrete stand the test of time. One thing to remember is concrete will crack eventually which is inevitable. However we take all the necessary steps to ensure this doesn't occur prematurely and that the cracks are only minor.
What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?
I treat people how I would like to be treated. I don't like to be stuffed around and lied to by trades working for me and I act the same way when I work for someone else.
What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?
customers should be very thorough and have a clear idea of what they are after. I suggest you also have faith in the information I can provide you to enhance your ideas and make the project a feasible idea.
What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?
Most commonly I am asked about price and I reccomend you think hard before taking the cheapest quote. Sometimes my quotes turn out to be the cheapest quotation which is great for the client. However more frequently the cheapest quote will be the worst job. No different to buying a cheap product from a shop as opposed to a reasonably priced one. You get what you pay for.
What do you like most about your job?
I love the way we can transform a patch of dirt into a functional area that not only makes life easier for the client but looks good too. I also like working outdoors and the variety that comes with the job.
How did you decide to get into your line of work?
I fell into this type of work through family and friends being involved in concreting. No special story in regards to becoming a Concreter. Enjoyed the work so I stuck at it.
Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?
I don't have a particular story but I've met some very nice people over the years whom have been very generous and hospitable whilst we have been working at there house, which makes our job worthwhile.
