Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Yes my work is guaranteed I have had to submit 20 images to be assessed by a panel of four professional photographers within the industry to obtain my AIPP status of been an Accredited Member with the AIPP.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Accepted Answer

I served with the Australian Defence Force and while overseas on operations I took photos of life over there it was then I realised that photography is what I love to do upon my return I discharged and went on to complete my Advanced Diploma in Photography.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

I recently photographed a friends wedding of my wife in Melbourne. They went on to Mexico to do the real wedding where they were not happy with the images from the photographer as most were blurry, She was so grateful that I had photographed the wedding in Melbourne as they are the ones they love!

What do you like most about your job?

I love capturing memories that will last a lifetime seeing the joy in the Bride & Grooms faces and the families are just amazing. To be surrounded by so much love at one time is just fantastic. Families are exactly the same. My commercial side I love working with other like minded people.

Potential clients should always ask are you accredited with the AIPP, if so look on the photographers website for the logo ask the photographer if they specialise in the type of work your wanting them to do. Ask if they are available on the date you want if not ask if they know another photographer.

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

Generally clients want to know how much it will cost without giving enough information to us, I will generally then ask them a series of questions which will allow me to determine what package would best suit or I'd advise them I will send a quote through to them if it is Commercial work.

I think to be trustworthy you just need to look at the work and speak with the photographer you'll soon know whether they are the right person for your wedding or job.

Domestic including weddings - Location, Date, How many people or family members, are you wanting prints, DVD or album. Architecture & Fashion - Location, Date, Budget, What medium the images will be used to allow for correct BUR's & quote

Do your homework on the photographer look at their website look for the AIPP logo on their website this will ensure you are getting a professional photographer who knows what they are doing, Always think about the price you really do get what you pay for (In most cases). 3rd. Click with them

What makes your pricing competitive?

I don't run a studio base business all my work is generally outside or at my clients home this allows me to pass on the savings to the client that they would normally be charged when going to a studio.

How do you normally charge for your service?

All Weddings and Portraiture style work have packages that the clients are able to choose from. Payment is generally made prior to the day of the shoot. For all Architecture and Fashion style shoots individual quotes are given once I've been given enough information to work with.

I have my Commercial Major in Photography which allows me to specialise in Wedding Photography, Domestic Portraiture such as Family, Newborn, Maternity, Children, Pets, I also specialise in Architecture Photography and Fashion.

I have over 10 years experience within the industry I completed my Advanced Diploma in Photography in 2013 and became AIPP accredited in 2014 with the Australia Institute of Professional Photography.
