How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I started in admin in my early 20's, became an office manger for 18+ years, as my family grew I decided to start my own business as I love working with figures and keeping accounts/paperwork in order.

A former client returned to have all their paperwork in order for the ATO, to lodge years of BAS's & annual returns. They were so overwhelmed they just kept putting it off and once it was all completed they were extremely pleased to not be so far in debt, they gave us flowers & a huge hug.

I love working with figures, problem solving and making sure that accounting programs/records are up to date to help the clients focus on their business not paperwork and reduce their accountants costs.

Any business looking to outsource their bookkeeping should ensure the person/business is a registered BAS agent with the Tax Practitioners Board (this will ensure they have the qualifications, insurance and are bound by a code of ethics). How long will it take - Our reply is that a defined time cannot be guaranteed as we cannot foresee exactly how much data will have to be completed but we will work efficiently to reduce the amount of time is taken.
