How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I had worked in the Environmental Education & Management sectors for over 20 years. Although I loved the work, I had little opportunity to be creative. I retrained and are now qualified to be an interior decorator, but bring with me the ethics and knowledge of my past.

What do you like most about your job?

I love finding solutions that clients have never really seen or thought of and see the expression on their face when they realise that what they want is achievable.

What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?

I might be creative and funky, but Im English and old school when it comes to agreements and manners. If I agree a time, I will be there at that time. If I state a deadline, the deadline will be met. Its just how I work.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Identify what you like and dislike about the space. Be very clear about what is to be kept and what the budget is for the redecoration work. If you have collected images of ideas and designs, then provide them  at the beginning.

Quotes are written based on the following rates. Hourly rate $50. Daily rate $325. Every quote will detail not only the work that needs to be undertaken, but lists the documentation and drawings you will receive. Completely transparent.

Design and Project Management services are charged at either an hourly or daily rate. All quotes include an outline of what you want to done, what information you will be provided with and how much the service will cost. No hidden surprises.

Sustainable Interior Design - involves looking at the space or home in its entirety and providing advice on both the functional and visual design elements.

Cert IV Interior Decoration. Diploma in Design. BA Hons in Environmental Management & Policy. Training in colour technology, home organising and sustainable material selection.
