• How did you decide to get into your line of work?

  I enjoyed capturing images of my own children so much that I pursued photography as a profession. I fell in love with newborn portraiture and now specialise in posed images of baby as well as outdoor photoshoots with families in an environment where they can play and have fun.

• What do you like most about your job?

  I love working with babies and children. A newborn photography session can take anywhere between 2-4 hours to allow time for setting, feeding and various set-ups. I am very patient and feel honoured to capture a baby in their first few days and weeks.

Unique selling points

• My vaccinations are up to date (flu & pertussis). I have a current first-aid certificate. I am very mindful of recommended newborn photography safety measures.

• My studio is located on an acreage in a quiet leafy suburb, not far from a major shopping centre and both public and private hospitals.

• I'm a lifetime member of ClickinMoms and have attended in-person workshops by leading photographers. (Brittany Woodall, Melanie Kellermann); Babies & Bellies (Erin Elizabeth, Stephanie Lemmens).

• I have over 10 years of experience as a family and baby photographer. I'm a mum of 3 who loves, loves working with babies.

• I'm a trained graphic designer, with a keen eye for detail. I love the editing process and so prefer to do my own editing.
