How did you decide to get into your line of work?

We are passionate about cars.  We realise that people have little time left over at the end of their busy day.  Our job is to get them back onto the road as quickly as we can.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

We had a customer who was looking at buying a Ferrari 360 Modena and requested that we have a look at it for him.  The Pre-Purchase Inspection that was carried out showed a lot more problems with the vehicle than what met the eye.  In the end we advised against the purchase because the customer would have to spend a lot of money to fix up the vehicle from oil leaks to replacing tyres.

What do you like most about your job?

Fixing peoples cars and the reaction of the customer when they get into their car and that awful noise is gone or it drives so much better than before.  The customer's satisfaction is the thing I like most about what we do.

Ask if they are a fully qualified mechanic.  There is no law stating that a mechanical workshop has to have a fully qualified mechanic.  Always ask to see accreditations, then you know your car is in trained hands.

Question: How much do you charge for a basic service? Answer: Basic servicing starts from $129 but it depends entirely on your vehicle and how many kilometres it has. Question: If you service my vehicle will I be able to keep my new car warranty? Answer: Yes you can. We are fully qualified mechanics and we can sign off your logbook servicing. Question: How long does my Safety Certificate last for? Answer: 2 months or 2000kms depending on which one comes first Question: How long do I have to repair any defects on my vehicle to pass the Safety Certificate? Answer: You have 14 days from the first inspection to complete any repairs on the listed defects. If this time passes a whole new Safety Certificate will need to be issued.

The workshop is an Accredited Inspection Station. This means that we are licensed by Queensland Transport to assure that safe vehicles are on the road.  Our interest is in keeping you and your family safe on the road.

We are a friendly team who make servicing and repairing your vehicle easier.  We take the time to explain the issues clearly and will call you if there is any additional work to be done. This work must be approved by you for us to continue above the initial quote.

The following details of the vehicle make it easier to quote accurately. - Make - Model - Year as much detail as possible. Best to write down the information from your registration certificate. This has the most accurate information to enable quote accurately.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Tip 1 - Regular servicing is the key to avoiding large and expensive repairs Tip 2 - If something is wrong with your vehicle have it looked at as soon as you can. The longer you leave it, it will most likely will get worse quickly. Tip 3 - Find a mechanic that you can trust. If you are unsure, check with another shop to make sure that you are being quoted fairly.

We quote fairly.  If there is a better alternative for you and your vehicle e.g.: Reconditioned parts etc, we will offer you this as well as brand new replacement. We give you the large dealership service without the dealership price.

Service work is charged on a hourly rate plus parts. Mobile Safety Certificate Inspections are quoted as per the job as it depends on the type of vehicle and its location.

We specialise in Safety Certificates also known as Road Worthy Certificates both in a fixed location and a mobile service. We can come to you. We offer Pre-Purchase Inspections which makes it especially easier for interstate buyers. We specialised in servicing all makes and models including European and Japanese vehicles.
