How did you decide to get into your line of work?

As a single mother, I needed a job that would allow me to work from home and have the flexibility to bring up my young son. I studied web design and online marketing at night while working a night job with young people with disabilities. Once I had the skills to start my own web design business, I went and did a small business course to learn how to run my own business. This was 4 years ago now and I've never looked back!

Without some SEO and building the website with proper keyword research in mind, there is just too much competition and too many websites that have been around for a long time for a new website to immediately be on the first page for a competitive keyword. I always recommend that they also take an SEO package to get their website moving in the right direction.  Q. Do you provide training for using the CMS? A. Yes, we provide up to 3 hours face to face training (if you aren't in Sydney we do a screen share online) and can also provide (for a small fee) a video of the training session in case you don't remember everything.

To make your website as cost effective for you as possible, you can do a number of things:  1. Check out other websites in your industry and around the 'net that you like. 2. Check whether you will need graphics such as logo and images for the website. 3. Put all your content into one file, don't send a file of 200 images and request the designer "pick the best 3". This takes time and as a result may cost you more money.

We always start with a 50% deposit and you can either make stage payments throughout the project or a full and final payment when the website is ready to go "live".
