Q. Do we undertake both building and pest inspections?  A. Yes  Q. The house I am considering purchasing is built on a concrete slab. Why would I need a pest inspection?  A. Houses built on a concrete slab are more likely to suffer infestation from timber pests such as borers and termites as their entry is concealed. In most cases there is still a timber stud wall behind the cladding which is susceptible to termite and timber pest attack.

Degree qualified inspections. I hold a B.App.Sci (Construction Mgmt) from RMIT with Honours. In addition, I have over 12 years experience in the Victorian Building Industry.

Please ensure the vendor or agent has all windows, doors, hatch underneath the floor unlocked so that we are fully able to inspect all accessible areas of the property.
