MKG Interior Design is Insured for Public Liability and we only use fully insured contractors on our projects.  All work is guaranteed under the manufacturer and contractor as per their standard warranty periods.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

MKG Interior Design is the brain child of the Owner and Interior Designer Monika K Giannini, who has had a passion for interior design all her life. Designing beautiful rooms, homes and creative spaces for others is what truly makes Monika happy.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

Recently I had a consultation with a client who is getting their home ready for sale. I spent a couple of hours with her walking through the home and making suggestions. At the end of the consultation she was so happy she hugged me. Love a happy client.

At MKG Interior Design we create beautiful spaced for our clients to live in, work in and enjoy.  The most rewarding is seeing a client view a completed home or office for the first time and seeing their joy, satisfaction and appreciation.

All questions are good questions, it's vital that any question the client has is answered to their satisfaction.  Making sure that the professional understands all the clients requirements is key to a successful working relationship and a positive outcome for the client.

The most common questions are "When can you start" and "How long will my project take to complete".  Our answer is "We are happy to start when you are ready" and "A full project schedule will be submitted based on the individual project requirements".

To provide an accurate quote we need to understand the complete scope of the project, this way we can make sure that all relevant services and goods are sourced with the most competitive pricing. We pass on all cost savings to the client and prove the most cost effective quote.

Recommendations for all our clients: 1). Have a list of all the ideas they wish to include in their project, 2). Set a budget that MKG Interior Design will build a designs around and 3). Try not to make changes once a design has been approved and signed off.
