Overall the The tiling in my bathroom appears to be okay however he has made a mistake regarding the tile cement.he has bought white cement instead of cream or brown which is the same colour as my tiles and he refuses to rectify the issue and he doesn’t answer my calls. Do not ask for any extra jobs without getting a price first as he charged me $100 extra for just putting silicon around the shower frame not even removing the old silicon which I found to be extremely expensive.Modish Tiling replied10 Apr 2022
Just brief explanation my reply to this customer is I think by cement he means grout because cement is under the tile and the colour of cement doesn’t matter so for the grout inside his shower had very old tiles which are approximately 10 years old or over. One line of tiles inside his shower was dislocated so I took them off and replaced them for him the old grout that his shower had I couldn’t find the same colour because they were not available anymore because they were very old the grout that I used for him is the same colour as his tile and I said to him that this is the only close option he agreed and said to apply them then I used that. There are two of them his wife wants one thing her husband want another thing. About the silicone I spoke to him that it will cost him $100 he was happy and I didn’t force him to give me.Andrea S
