Yes. We are insured for $10,000,000 and we provide our customers a 5 Year warranty for non yellowing, peeling or cracking.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Started working for my family construction business in the UK, then moved to New Zealand in the late 70's. Started my own construction company in the early 80's. Went to Singapore and started up my own business  carrying out refinishing works to walls/floors for 25 years. Decided I wanted to expand my expertise in the floor refinishing industry. Moved to Australia in 2010 and currently own and operate a Mr. Sandless franchise refinishing all kinds of floors in Perth, Australia.

While working in Singapore, I was engaged by a property agent to complete some floors for a rental property. l must have impressed her because she became my wife and we are still happily together.

Our charges, our process and our warranty period. Our rates vary from $20-$30m2. These rates can vary depending on the size, existing conditions of the floors and whether the floors will be suitable for a non-sand process or a full sand process. We always recommend a floor inspection to give an accurate price and the type of system required. We always assure them for either system the 5-Year warranty will apply

We have numerous testimonials and references from satisfied customers for our reliability, honesty and for the Mr.Sandless system we use. We have completed hundreds of floors since Sept 2010 when we started in Perth and always promptly attended to any feedback / concerns brought up by customers after they had their floors refinished.

Because we do not have to sand to make your floors look beautiful. There will be no mess, dust or smells. Most floors are completed in the same day so no need to move out or store furniture. You can walk on floors and replace back furniture only 1 hour after our final coat. Our products are allergy friendly, child and pet safe and certified Green. What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

We need to know the type of existing floor, if there are existing stains/deep scratches, gouges/ pet urine, if the floor boards are under carpet/lino and number of rooms to be refinished,

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Accepted Answer

If furniture is required to be moved and replaced back the customer can save money by doing this service themselves. If carpets/lino need to be pulled up and tacks/nails/residue glue removed a customer can save money by doing this service themselves and if there are any renovation works to be done the customer will save money by having all the renovation works completed before refinishing their floors so that we do not need to come back and charge for rectification works caused by third parties.

Per m2 or a Lump sum price for smaller floor areas under 40m2. No call-out fee. Floor inspection and quotation are FREE.
