How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I was working in an Heating and Air Conditioning Company doing their Admin and realized they needed a bookkeeper.  I decided to then take a basic and advanced bookkeeping course and from there went on to become a BAS Agent and run my own business.

I had some advertising on the back of one of my vehicles and a mechanic was apparently following my car to get my phone no. This was about 7 years ago and he still my client to this day.

I like to be able to help business keep their books in order so that the end of year with their accountant runs smoothly and reduces the cost. I also enjoy setting up business and cleaing up books.

The most common question asked is how much do i charge. My anser to this is if you are asking the question then i am not the person for you.  I charge for my skills.

I show up at the appointed time set, and if they are an ongoing client i will set a time each, week, fortnight or month for me to be there and have their books completed.  I do not leave until the work is finished.

I will keep the companies books in order for smooth end of year financials and i have a loyalty to my clients in keeping them that way.  I also love what i do and have a great eye for detail.

I need to know what it is they want, whether it be training on a particular software or if they need my services on an ongoing basis.  The rates vary depending on what is needed.
