Insurance is a must. Guaranteeing my work is difficult but i will do my best to make sure you recieve the clip you are expecting. .I am always happy to have you there whilst grooming your pet to make sure your happy.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have always loved animals. Grooming was a natural progression for me. I love and have a passion for every pet that comes through my door. Pets leave paw prints in our Hearts...

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

I have a lovely elderly lady who moved to the Sunshine Coast from New Zealand. Her dog Louie is blind and deaf beautiful poodle. She came in one day with her daughter crying but Louie looked fine? She informed me that Louie had an incurable cancer and that they had to put Louie down that afternoon. She was very adament that she wanted to stick to the schedule and have Louie groomed. She had come in an hour before her appointment and i had a young Samoyed on the table at the time. I rang the owner of the Samoyed and asked her if i could keep him a bit longer and clip poor Louie first. Of course she agreed. I sat Tundra the samoyed in between the two ladies to keep them company who just loved shaking hands with them whilst Louie and i did our last dance together. The owner tried to pay me with tears streaming down her face but of course i couldnt bring myself to accept her money. We hugged and cried together and we said our goodbyes. such a lovely family. He will be sadly missed.

What do you like most about your job?

I love this job. I dont have to do this job...i choose to do this job. I love to see the look on my clients faces when i transform their pets from scruffy to cute clean and cuddly.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Experience would be information i would want. How long? What qualifications? How long the session takes? Take note of the cleanliness of the salon and make sure that there is a clear view where the animal is to be groomed. And dont put your pet into an overcrowded salon as cross contamination is always possible.

The most commonly asked question would be..do we include nail clipping in the price? and the answer is yes we do. Alot of groomers have added extras which makes it more expensive to get you pet groomed. I dont...its that simple.

All of my customers and their precious pets are my first concern. I like to sit down with the customer and listen to what they require. Getting the style right is the most important to me whilst ensuring that the pet is comfortable.

I would like to think that i am a compassionate groomer. I love all my animals that come into my grooming salon. In my salon you can relax and watch me groom you pet. I dont have lots of dogs in the salon when you come in. Its one on one personal service.

We always try to give a quote over the phone. This is difficult without seeing the dogs coat. I am always happy to do a firm quote before we proceed with grooming.

Keep your pet brushed. This is the biggest problem in grooming. I have lots of clients say "i only want a little bit taken off". This is only possible if the pet is brushed regularly.

I dont have add ons. One price is what i like to run my business by. I dont beleive where i have my business needs to have inflated prices. I believe you get value for money.

Once i have seen the condition of your pets coat i will give you a firm cost with no hidden extras. We also offer a bonus free hydrobath for every 9 hydrobaths booked.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

I have the only Micobubble machine on the Sunshine Coast to help alleviate skin irritations for your pet. This is a new treatment that will greatly benefit your pet. I love to hug and cuddle the older pets that need that reassurance whilst being groomed.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I have twenty eight years experience in grooming pets. I can groom all styles of dogs with love and care. I imparticularly like to groom older dogs and i love to calmy help those nervous pets that have had a previous bad experience.
