• How did you decide to get into your line of work?

  I originally worked with timber - qualified cabinet maker/cooper but I always wanted to work with metal. I was always building my own steel cabinets, ice box (for when I would catch that big fish), etc. Anything that needed welding I enjoyed and when the opportunity presented itself, I changed occupations to develop my welding skills.

• What do you like most about your job?

  The diversity. Never knowing what I'll be welding next or where. From the smallest of repairs to designing & construction. The challenge of thinking the best way to tackle the next project.
