Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

All our films and our workmanship are guaranteed with Warranties.  Our Automotive and Residential Films have Lifetime Warranties against bubblings, fading and delaminating and our Commercial films are backed by 10 year Warranties against the same issues.    All our automotive customers are offered a compassionate warranty exclusive to Optimus Tinting Solutions.  If your window/s are damaged in a car accident or broken into within the first three (3) months of receiving our service, we will replace the window/s tint free of charge. This is our way of showing we care and appreciate your business.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Window Tinting has been a great hobby of ours for the last 10 years.  As self-taught enthusiasts it went from practicing on friends and family members cars and occasionally a weekend customer to an apprenticeship that developed into a full time job and finally when we acquired years of experience we built a business and career.

Our job as a Window Tinting business brings us great satisfaction because its our passion.  Its a business that we started in New Zealand as a casual hobby and has expanded into a career.  What we like most about our job is no day is the same.  Our customers welcome us into their homes and offices and trust us with their vehicles because they want to improve their lifestyle or the aestetics of their property.  And we have the skills to be able to deliver this to them.

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

Our frequently asked questions are: How long will it take to tint my whole car? It varies depending on the size of your vehicle but to give you an idea, 2 hours for sedan, hatchback, 2-door utes or other small vehicles.  3 hours for medium sized vehicles and 3.5 to 4 hours for vans, large utility vehicles and so forth.   An extra hour on each time listed above if we need to remove old film.  Are you open on Saturdays? We are only open Mon to Fri 6am to 6pm and Sundays 8am to 2pm.  We also offer tinting after hours on any of these days by request.

We are the most reliable and trustworthy people for all your tinting requirements because we value our business on being professional, punctual and transparent in all our dealings with our customers.   We value quality over quantity and will never leave your property or vehicle without completing our job to the best and most satisfactory level of service.  As a family owned and operated business we take pride in giving our best and developing on-going customer relationships. We also believe that communication is the most important key to gaining customer trust and so will always be available to be contacted.

We are a family owned and operated business so our priority second to creating great customer relationships is to uphold our core values of honesty, transparency and professionalism.  We value our customers time and property and so take great care in delivering professional and on-time service.  We take pride in our work and only deliver back to the customer quality results.  We are flexible to meet our customers needs first offering after hours service and all day Sunday tinting on request.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

For automotive tinting we require the make, model, year of manufacture and the type of film you are seeking and if you have film currently on your vehicle.  Please also state if this is a full tint or just a few windows to be tinted.    For example.  I would like a full tint on my Kia Sorento, 2002 darkest legal.  It has old film on it.  How much for re-tint and removal of old film?  From that information, we can provide a quote suitable for your vehicle and also give you free advice on other options available to you that you may not be aware of.  For home and office tinting we require the number of windows to be tinted and the measurements (length & width must be stated clearly).  If you have an idea of the type of film you want, that would also help.  For example, one way vision, black or decorative film.   Some additional information that would help but is not mandatory is what you want to achieve by applying film to your window/s.  For example, do you want privacy? do you want to reduce heat in the room? do you want to reduce glare in the office? etc.  All this information will allow us to quote our customers with the best options of films we have and prices that are available to them.

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?

We would like to offer our Oneflare customers a FREE tint band valued at $60 for every Full Car Tint service.  (Excludes cars with windshield sensors)

Our aim is to offer professional, high quality tinting services at affordable and competitive prices.  We are able to do this by operating a low cost mobile service and home based office.  This allows us to keep our running costs low and the customer benefits from these savings.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We accept cash payments and Eftpos (via paypal) a surcharge of 2% of your bill per transaction applies. Please advise us of your email if you would like a copy of your receipt.

We specialise in Window Tinting Services including automotive, residential and commercial tinting.  We have extensive experience in working in the automotive tinting industry and a great knowledge of automotive films and legal requirements of window tinting.  We have also had years of training in residential and commercial tinting that is globally accepted and accredited.

Our experience and skills are extensive in the Window Tinting industry which makes us the right person for car, home and office needs.  We are knowledgable about the films we provide and will always give you our professional recommendations for you to make informed decisions with. We have worked and trained extensively in this line of work and for the last two years was the sole automotive window tinting contracter to RACQ Southside QLD. We also have a Solarguard Flat Glass accreditation to apply all types of safety and specialised films to homes and offices.
