Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

When we provide hardware (hard drive, memory, motherboard etc) we always warranty the items whether new or second-user (often needed when fixing or upgrading older equipment).

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I started in 1999 when the IT world was full of doom and gloom over the "Millenium Bug" and this caught my interest.  As it happened, there were no issues and the new Millenium started without a single hitch!

We have so many! Recently, a young lady brought in her Mac with a failing hard drive - she had taken it elsewhere and was told that nothing could be done (she was even charged for the bad news) - we removed the drive and managed recover over 30Gb of data, photos etc.  She was so happy !!

Here at pcplanIT we all love our work - many people ask WHY as computers can be so frustrating!!  We enjoy the challenges that some PC's throw at us e.g. data recovery from a computer or laptop that doesn't even work.

How long will it take?  Normally 24 to 48 hours, however we will prioitise any Oneflare customers for a quicker service whenever possible. How much will it cost?  Difficult to answer e.g. a full service which includes hard drive tests and defrag, software cleanup, driver and operating system updates, startup issues, is only from $85.00

We strive to maintain excellent stock levels at very competitive prices; from computer components such as motherboards, processors, hard drives etc. to the latest flat screen LCD monitors.  We also stock high quality original and compatible inks for Canon and Epson printers – again at very good prices.  Anything needed that is not in stock, we will strive to get in by the next day! We provide a workshop premises with ample parking OR we can come to you.

We will always ask certain questions for example:- How old is the equipment? What operating system i.e. Windows7, Vista etc? What problems are you experiencing? Will you come to us, or do we come to you?

Try to do your own backups - any work is time and time costs money! Do phone us first as we might be able to offer some free advise particularly when it comes to a "slow" computer or internet issues. If you're having power issues, try moving the equipment to a different location and try different cables.

Most of our work is done at our premises where you can pay in case, EFTPOS, or credit cards.  We also take cash and cards when coming to you so all aspects of paying and payments are covered.

We deal with all aspects of personal computing, from desktop PC's to laptops, Macs, Servers, broadband issues, virus/malware problems. We have many residential customers, and business clients and we offer a 1st class service to all.

Between us, we have over 30 years experience in the personal computing industry.  We have been here in Mornington for over 9 years providing excellent service.  We each have been servicing desktop computers, laptops, Macs etc and have each gone through a rigorous on-site hands-on training regime.
