How did you decide to get into your line of work?

When I was younger, I received an Apple laptop for my birthday. Soon after setting it up, I discovered the app "iMovie". I inspected all the app had to offer - the buttons, the filters, the transitions etc. From then on, I would take videos of anything to try and figure out how iMovie worked. To my surprise, I picked it up fairly quickly. I started creating videos for family member's birthdays, their graduations or just anything that was an importance to them. I remember observing my sister as she watched the video I made for her 18th. She loved it - her face lit up and she was smiling from ear to ear. From then on, I haven't been able to stop creating. There's no greater joy then seeing pure happiness and love from something you have created. I have fallen in love with photography & film making and haven't looked back since, now, committing myself to a career as a professional Videographer & Photographer.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

When I photographed the Marcus family, I remember showing them the photos and they had a tear in their eye. They would giggle and kiss each other while looking through the photos - it was beautiful!

A customer should ask for the turn around time, price, time it takes and style of photographs. Many photographers have a "style" so its important to make sure their style is what you're after - if not, are they willing to make an exception?

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

Sometimes customers ask for their images in RAW format, I would say a firm no to that. Editing images is a large part of the craft in photography, so sending RAW photos is like sending out a bride without her hair done!

I put everything into my work. I care far too much about my job to mess people around. I pride myself on being someone who will do everything they can to make the photos/videos perfect!

I don't have a set price as every session is different. I speak to the client first, see what they're after and then provide a quote for service.
