Penfolds Catering is fully licenced and fully insured and operating from a commercial kitchen in Noosa Heads. We are registered with Noosa Council and QLD Health and always ensure safe food practices are taken.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Daniel and Rebecca have both been in Hospitality since the age of 15. Working in busy top restaurants in Australian and overseas. They decided they wanted to combine their knowledge of cooking and front of house service and pursued their dream of starting up their own catering business.

What do you like most about your job?

Serving beautiful food to make clients and their friends and family happy. We love hearing the wonderful feedback as each bite is taken. We love seeing the hosts of the party enjoying themselves and mingling with their guests, rather then slaving in the kitchen getting all the food prepared.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

We are a family run mobile catering service with extensive hospitality knowledge. We bring all our own catering equipment to functions, including plates, cutlery, crockery and napkins. We use only the freshest ingredients and source from local supplies.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

What type of menu are you interested in. How many people approximately will be attending the function. What is the location of the function. Do you need to hire any bar equipment, glasses etc. Then we can provide an accurate quote, detailing your travel fee, how many staff will be needed and a menu.

What makes your pricing competitive?

Accepted Answer

We don't charge through the roof prices. We believe in fair and reasonable prices. We won't break your bank. We understand every event is different, big or small and we work with you to provide a quote you are happy with.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

Once you are happy with your quote, detailing everything, no hidden costs, we only require a 20% deposit. Full payment is due 7 days prior to your function. We accept direct bank deposit, cash, & mastercard/visa. Payment can be made in installments.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

Both Daniel & Rebecca are qualified chefs, and Food safety supervisors. Both completed Cert II in hospitality, Rebecca completing Cert IV in Hospitality. 34 years combined hospitality knowledge. Noosa Council and QLD Health approved, Fully Insured.
