My business is fully ensured and all workmanship on your vehicle is guaranteed for 12 months/1 year or 10,000 kms.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

After being in the army for 6 years as a engineer I wanted to do something where I was still involved with engineering but also where I was not stuck in a desk job I had always enjoyed mechanical work so at 26 I began my adult apprenticeship and now have my own workshop.

I was doing some paperwork on a sunday when my workshop is closed when a young man knocked on my door as he had a blown tyre, it was his weekend with his 2 young daughters. After 10 mins I had fitted a secondhand tyre and he was so grateful as now he could have is time with his daughters worry free.

I like problem solving and giving people a fair deal, I understand that everyone has to make money but I see a lot of greed out there in the motor industry.

What is your technical experience? Do you supply written quotes? Do you give a warranty and how long for? Do you give full breakdowns of parts and labour?

Customers usually ask me do I wash and vacuum the cars? Yes i do. Do I supply a full breakdown of parts and labour? Yes i do. How can you be so much cheaper than the dealership? I have lower overheads.

Having served in the Australian army for 6 years I have gained the high standards, reliabilty and honesty that only the military can teach. I treat customers the exact same way I wish to be treated.

I have over 10 years of mechanical experience and I am more affordable than a dealership. This is because I am a small owner operator and have lower overheads. Previously working at Porsche and BMW I have a very high standard of work with exceptional customer service.

I will need to know make of car eg ford,holden. Model of car eg commodore, falcon. Year of car production and kilometers it has travelled. Service required.

Note when the problem occurs eg start up or after running, make sure boot is empty, make sure interior is clean from clutter

Being a smaller workshop i have less overheads allowing me to have a reduced labour price of $95 dollars a hour whereas most dealerships are $120+ per hoour

How do you normally charge for your service?

I charge at a hourly rate for log book services, and for minor services I have a set price $99 for 4 cyclinders, $129 for 6 cyclinders and $149 for diesels and v8 (excluding dpf oil)

My workshop specialises in log book vehicle servicing, brakes, clutches, gearbox and transmission work, tyres new and second hand and engine reconditioning.
