I have all the necessary insurances, including Professional Indemnity and Public liability in place.  I also guarantee  all the work I undertake.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

My father was a Licensed Surveyor, and as a youngster I used to go into the field with him. As I grew older I liked the idea of spending a lot of time outdoors.

I frequently advise clients that the money spent on a repeg survey is well spent prior to commencing and fencing or building on or near any boundary.

Is the professional qualified to carry out the survey required, as only a Licensed Surveyor is permitted to carry out boundary surveys.

Is the quote cheaper if it is only a partial repeg needed? Marginally, as most of the surveyors time is spent establishing the front street alignment, as apposed the placing of the actual corner pegs.

I am a Licensed Surveyor governed by a Licensed Surveyors Licensing Board. We are governed by an Act and Regulations that have to be strictly adhered to.

I pride myself in supplying a prompt, friendly service at a competitive price. If a job is urgent, I will try my best to fit it in promptly and have it completed within stipulated time frames.

Exactly what type of survey is required. Owners name and address. Time frames, when does the client need the survey completed?

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Remove vegetation at boundary corners. Remove old fencing before the survey commences, if the object of the survey is to replace fencing.

Having worked for different companies, I understand the pricing system of the industry, and therefore make sure my quotes are competitive.

I normally work out a lump sum quote. Jobs that require a scope that varies, will be charged on an agreed hourly rate.

I specialise in all boundary surveys, including Repeg Surveys, Identification Surveys, Subdivisions and Strata Surveys. I also carry out Contour and Feature Surveys, Set-out Surveys and Engineering Surveys.

I am a Licensed Surveyor (Batchelor of Science -  Land Surveying) with over 25 years experience and hold a current practising certificate.
