Business description

Pet and You Photography capture the special connection between owners and their pets. We are professional portrait photographers, focusing on pets with their owners. We travel to the client's home or favourite location so the pet is in a comfortable and familiar environment. We manipulate natural light to ensure there are no flashes to stress or startle the pet. We provide a variety of frames and other products to display the cherished photos.

Frequently asked questions

  • How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I decided to get into this line of work because I am passionate about animals and photography. I have always had pets and love them. When they passed, I had lots of photos of them but not many of me with my pet, playing, cuddling and enjoying each other's company so I decided to start the business.

  • Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

I had a client, Rebecca and her beautiful Beagle, Sally. We had a fun photo shoot, the connection between Rebecca and Sally was obviously very strong. After the shoot, Rebecca revealed to me that Sally alerted Rebecca to her breast cancer, got tested and was diagnosed and treated. Very touching.
