Plan and Grow is the dream child of our founder Balashankar Vattigunta. Bala is a qualified accountant and a full member of Institute of Public Accountants. He has numerous qualifications in business and accounting. He has over 10 years commercial and management accounting experience working for large companies like Sanofi, Stryker, Alphapharm etc. He started his career working for a Chartered Accountant firm and later joined a small start up business called Austmark International as a financial and management accountant. He is an expert in business analysis and finding the story behind numbers. Unlike many accountants, he has a strong commercial acumen to look at broader aspects of business in a holistic way. He is passionate about small businesses. He always thought he would purchase a cafe or pizza shop to settle down with continuous inflow of money. In the process, he had looked at few businesses that were available for sale. In his research he had found devastating results. Contrary to popular belief, these small businesses were not making continuous inflow of money but actually finding it difficult to make ends meet. He could easily pinpoint where the problems were in those businesses. At that point he had realised his skills were more useful to all those small business owners. That idea has culminated into opportunity to work with small business owners by providing financial control support in steering their businesses to prosperity. He believes that his success is dependent on his customers success. So, he works diligently in finding solutions that are specifically catered towards each of his customers.
