Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?
We provide quality service with quality parts and a 5 year workmanship guarantee
How do you normally charge for your service?
We have a $75 Call out fee, and charge $130 per hour for smaller jobs. For larger jobs we use a sliding scale to offer specials and discounts for our clients so they can get large amounts of work done at a competitive price.
What makes your pricing competitive?
Installations carried out by an expert electrician with more than 15 years of experience Owner notified prior to commencement of any repairs Safety Certification on all test results provided to owner and Western Power Five Year workmanship warranty Product warranty for 12 months following installation minimum depending on products supplied No job is too big or too small Friendly and professional service Tax invoice and payment due upon delivery
Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?
The response to our call was speedy and the electrician was punctual. His attitude and professionalism was what we had hoped for. After a speedy and helpful repair we were very pleased, and would certainly recommend. Paul Houston
What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy developing a good relationship between staff and clients so that we create a Win/Win scenario. We enjoy doing the work, our clients enjoy having the work done well also. Meshing the two together is rewarding!
How did you decide to get into your line of work?
I have been around London, New Zealand and Australia in this line of work. Perth is a great place to be, and once I have seen the requirements for good service here which is why I am here to offer a great service. Perth has many buildings that can use improvements from lighting, to air conditioning or air movement. We have aimed at filling a void in the market which is service based. The proper advice is often missing when clients go into shops to buy fittings, in some cases its not feasible to install certain products because they will not deliver the required job.
Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?
We have Insurance which is $5,000,000 for public liability insurance. We are fully covered and it's something we have not really needed to use. Power Legends pride ourselves on working in with our clients in the event an accident happens we are right there to offer our full support.
What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?
I have been in the industry for many years. We work business to business and also a service to residential clients. We will be around in the future since I believe we have forged a strong relationship with our clients. We have a small team and Police clearances are available on request if required.
What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?
We have A Grade Electricians working at Power Legends who combine to offer around 30 years in experience. These guys are not just hired, they have to pass a range of tests. Power Legends have raised the bar on the supply of quality electrical workers. You would go a long way to beat our team, and yes it's why our service is unique!
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
We need to know if the job is standard or not before we can apply our standard prices. Installing a ceiling fan that requires a scaffold is an example of a non standard job. The more details the easier it is to work out. Photos are also excellent indicators if specific parts are required.
What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?
The customer should ask; When are you available? Can you advise me on anything I am unsure on? What happens if I request extra work?
What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?
I get asked a lot of questions to do with safety and installation work. There are electrical regulations which need adhered to, and there are general codes of practice to which an installation may not be up to standard with one or the other or both of these aspects. Mainly the issues are the codes of practice such as best installation techniques for RCD Safety Switch or optimum task lighting. Our industry is an art, and its one that requires a great deal of experience!
How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
The real money saver is in fact setting up a list of all the jobs you require and getting them done at once. When we apply a sliding price scale to these it becomes very affordable.
Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?
We offer Oneflare customers a 10% discount on our already low prices. Then you know you can enjoy having the work done well at a affordable price. It's something that's a WIN/WIN for everyone.
Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?
