Customers generally want to know the price of a job. I always answer that every job is different and I can usually give an estimate over the phone. If its a small repair job I can give an exact amount.

Location. Ceiling height, Number of stories. Type of plaster required in certain areas, ie wet area board, fire resistant board, cement sheeting ect Type of finish at ceiling height, ie cornice or square set. Size, level of detail of the cornice. Any ceiling levelling needed through metal battens.

If its is a renovation, restoration or repair job, removing all items, such as boxes, wardrobes (anything in the way) will greatly improve efficiency, take less time and therefore reduce the cost significantly.

Every job is different depending on materials used, number of stories, ceiling height, level of detail with cornice or ornamental. etc  A simple house can be done for as little as $16 per square meter. Damage repair such as a hole in the wall starts from $150.
