I much enjoyed the private sector working for smaller companies so I decided to start my own business in Bookkeeping & I love it

If you have an online Accounting program link it to your bank so that your bank statement are being fed (called bank feeds) into the Accounting program. If you do not have an online Accounting program then the manual process of reconciliation takes alot longer costing more in hourly fees

I normally charge an hourly rate of $40 and in some circumstances operate under a flat monthy fixed fee. BAS lodgement is $100 or within the flat monthly fee. I invoice once per fortnight and my payment terms are 14 days from date of invoice.
